We know locals are our biggest asset to providing an exceptional experience in Southwest Louisiana. However, locals can also help us by getting meetings and events hosted in the Lake Area. If you are part of a state, regional, or national organization we would love to work with you to get the group's meeting, conference, or convention hosted right here in Southwest Louisiana! We even have a program specifically designed to reward our locals for helping us earn new business opportunities.
If you work with the sales team at Visit Lake Charles to secure a new meeting or event you will be able to choose from a wide variety of local businesses and receive a $100.00 gift card. We love bringing people to Southwest Louisiana and supporting local businesses. This program supports both!
In order to qualify, the meeting or event needs to bring in at least 100 total room nights, and not have hosted in SWLA in the last three years. If you feel like you are part of a group that would be a great fit to bring to the Lake Area, reach out to our sales team at sales@visitlakecharles.org. We provide an easy process to collect proposals from area hotels and convention centers and can present these options to an event organizer or board of directors.
